A Universe From Nothing

Creationists insist that the universe could not have come from nothing without some supernatural help. Creationists imagine a huge amount of matter and energy just popped into existence. It did no such thing. Scientists have discovered the amount of mass-energy in the universe is precisely zero. The negative (such as gravity) and positive energies precisely balance. Quantum fluctuations billions of times a second create balanced pairs of positive and negative particles. By the laws of physics, the big bang is a rare but expected event. There is no need for divine prodding.
