Intersexed Infants

About 2.2% of live births are born with ambiguous genitals or none at all. Most have XY male chromosomes, but corrective surgery to female is easier, so most of the time these infants are made physically female even though they have male brains. As we get more comfortable with intersexed people, we may tend to leave infants alone, or insist surgery match chromosomes.
