We Are Part Neanderthal

Neanderthals and humans interbred, perhaps as few as six times, possibly through force. As a result, all humans except those in Africa, carry 3% Neanderthal genes. There were never more than about 100,000 Neanderthals on earth at one time, so today there is far more Neanderthal DNA (Deoxyribonucleic Acid) on earth than ever before.
