A device for creating small plastic 3D objects, using the Lego-block style plastic. It works much like an inkjet printer than sprays out layer after layer of molten plastic. They can be used to make replacement parts, figurines, game pieces, functioning guns. It will make a shambles of patent and copyright law.
I don’t know if the scanners are high enough resolution to capture old vinyl recordings or if the printers are high enough resolution to print them. If it is, it may be possible to scan many copies and use that to create a noise-free master copy.
