Immune to Prosecution
Only a handful of Canadians believe in rule of law. The majority are completely opposed to trying Canadian soldiers for international war crimes, no matter how serious the alleged crimes. Yet that same majority has no problem with hanging Nazis at the end of WWII (World War II) for those same war crimes. In addition, that same majority feels comfortable with torturing and denying any civil rights to people simply because the military have labeled them the enemy.
