Criminals Subsidies

The United States promotes religions each year with tax breaks to the tune of $70 billion dollars. Most of that expenditure has negative effect e.g. conning the poorest people, encouraging anti-homosexual bigotry, meddling in the end-of-life decisions of non-believers, interfering with organ transplants, meddling in the birth control decisions of non-believers, providing mansions and private jets for charlatans like Peter Popoff, promoting fraudulent healing methods, aiding and abetting child rapists…

In contrast, America spends 1/10th that much, $7 billion a year on the National Science Foundation.
