Dealing With Being Dumped

Being dumped, especially without warning, especially when your partner refuses to tell you why they are leaving, can drive you nuts. The most common reasons people dump their partners are:

• They found someone the found more attractive than you. Statistically the odds, of 7.601 billion people, you are the most attractive is pretty darn remote. When they hitched up with you, you were the most attractive person they knew. They have since got to know many more people.
• They got bored. They expected the relationship to be as exciting as it was at the beginning. Such people have to change partners from time to time to get an emotional rush.
• The key attractive features about you changed. They might have been attracted by your big beefy build, your fame, your athleticism, your spectacular mop of hair, your wide social circle, your favourite sexual activities, your wealth…
• Think of all the nagging they did. Those petty things grew into an unendurable mountain.
