Bogus Sex Education

Religious fundamentalists like Pam Stenzel lecture that abstinence is the only way to protect yourself from HIV (Human Immuno-deficiency Virus). This simply is not true. Teaching abstinence only makes matters worse. It has worse outcomes even than teaching nothing at all. What does work is teaching the use of condoms. Stenzel is not only wrong, she is killing thousands of people with her lies. We have millions of years of evolution driving us to have sex. No way a lecture from Pam Stenzel is going to derail that.
