LGBTQ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transsexual or Queer) sometimes GLBT (Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual or Transgendered). Abbreviation favoured by newspapers since it is reasonably emotionally neutral. It is more modern, now that gay lib embraces the causes of bisexuals and transgenered people as well. To me, is more logical since there are more gay men than lesbians.
