Stop the Carnage

This American carnage stops right here, and stops right now. From this day forward it’s only going to be America first.

Trump is ridiculous. America, as the #1 superpower, has always put its interests first. It wanted oil, so it invaded Iraq. It wanted lithium, so it invaded Afghanistan. It built military bases all over the world to press its interests. It wanted to promote American corporations, so it invaded Nicaragua and blockaded Cuba to ensure those countries did not act as successful rôle models. By carnage, Trump does not mean he wants to stop America bombing other countries. In his view, if America does not negotiate trade deals overwhelmingly in America’s favour, that is morally the same as those countries bombing America.
