Definition of Terrorism
What is the definition of terrorism? killing civilians with the intent of changing their political affiliation.
~ Caleb Carr (1955-08-02 age:62), military historianThe Tea Party are a tiny minority who do not believe in majority rule. They are holding the USA hostage to force its senate and house to change the constitution, something that requires a 2/3 majority. They are clearly trying to force their political views on all the house members. They are threatening financial collapse of the USA to do it. They are not directly killing people, but there is no doubt many people would die as a result of the financial chaos from lack of food, housing and medical care. It is politically infeasible to prosecute the Tea Party members of the House of Representatives as terrorists and traitors, but it is possible to treat them with appropriate contempt.
In the hostage negotiations, Obama’s non-negotiable demand was that the Tea Party not pull this same stunt again for at least two more years and the Tea Party’s demand was that no tax loopholes be closed to make the rich start paying taxes like everyone else. They further insisted the most profitable companies in the history of man continue to receive government subsidies. The Tea Party are a front for those that have far more than enough who want to take from those who have far less than enough. The Tea Party has been clear. They want policies that will make the recession drag on. They want jobs to flee the country. They believe the worse they can make the economy, the more Obama will be blamed.
