Robert Mueller

timeline Donald Trump forced Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein to write a letter justifying and demanding the firing of James Comey, the head of the FBI (Federal Bureau of Investigation). On 2017-05-09, Trump fired Comey because Comey refused to cancel the investigation of Michael T. Flynn, the Russian connection and himself. Rosenstein angrily repudiated the letter. Allegedly without Trump’s permission, Rosenstein then hired Robert Mueller as the new head of the FBI.

Who is Robert Mueller? He is a Republican. George W. Bush appointed him head of the FBI a few days before 9-11. He went along with Attorney General Ashcroft in allowing torture and detention without charge or trial. He also went along with faking the evidence to justify invading Iraq. Obama replaced him with James Comey. Mueller has an undeserved reputation for integrity. He is a company man who does what those in power ask him to, without question.

I don’t think we can expect a deep investigation, any more than had Paul Ryan been tasked with the job.
