Mitt’s Silly Science
When you have a fire in an aircraft, there’s no place to go, exactly, there’s no — and you can’t find any oxygen from outside the aircraft to get in the aircraft because the windows don’t open. I don’t know why they don’t do that. It’s a real problem. So it’s very dangerous. And she was choking and rubbing her eyes. Fortunately, there was enough oxygen for the pilot and copilot to make a safe landing in Denver. But she’s safe and sound.
~ Mitt Romney (1947-03-12 age:71) sourceBesides demonstrating Romney’s general ignorance, his lack of understanding that airplanes are pressurised suggests that his parents carefully isolated him from all scientific knowledge, not just that which conflicted with the teachings of their Mormon cult. It also suggests they deliberately burnt out his curiosity and desire to learn. He further betrays his ignorance claiming you need more oxygen to deal with a fire rather than less. He claims to know what he is talking about and deliberately imposes his delusions on others. This is far more serious than simply not knowing. He further demonstrates his inability to form coherent sentences. Electing Romney would be like electing a three year old to make science policy. As president, he could not even formulate coherent directives, much less sensible ones.
