Trump’s Gall

Even before he was inaugurated, Trump did a 180 degree flip on the issue of letting lobbyists, insiders and special interests run the white house. During the election campaign he bellowed Drain the swamp. But now he has selected nothing but lobbyists, insiders and special interests for his cabinet. He does not even have some token fresh blood. He excused the flip flop by saying I need lobbyists because they know the system. In Washington everyone is a lobbyist.. I can’t think of any other politician who lied to and conned his supporters more than Trump. He has flip-flopped on all his major campaign promises:

• Get rid of lobbyists, insiders and special interests. He put nothing but into his cabinet. Trump laughs at conflict of interest. Oddly the law lets him use his office for personal gain, selling pay for play, and he plans to milk it for all it is worth.
• Build a wall.
• Bar all Muslims from entering the USA.
• Lock up Hillary without due process.

I am relieved he reneged on his last three major promises, but I am disgusted he has put together a corrupt cabinet the like of which has not been seen since the 1920s.
