Freedom for Gays Precludes Freedom for Christians to Persecute

We are gonna to have to choose as a nation between the homosexual agenda and freedom because the two cannot coexist. Every advance of the homosexual agenda, comes at the expense of liberty, particularly religious liberty.

This is Orwellian language. He is claiming that gays having the right to marry or serve in the military somehow impairs his freedom. How pray tell? He avoids even being in the same room with gays so he unlikely to be invited to same-sex wedding. He is far too old for military service, so he won’t run into any gays in that context. Perhaps his freedom to force his fundamentalist religious beliefs on others. Perhaps he is thinking of more fundamental freedoms, to go gay bashing, or in other ways persecute gays for amusement.
