Confession

There are many reasons why Catholic confession should be discontinued. Some of them have to do with child molesting:

• Priests are left alone and unsupervised with seven year old children where they cannot be disturbed.
• Priests intimidate children by demanding they divulge sins.
• When priests give each other confessions, they became honour bound not to report the child molesting confessed. The entire priesthood becomes complicit in the coverup.
• The typical penance for child molesting is saying three Hail Marys. All priests come to see child molesting as an ordinary and minor sin.
• Any sexual details divulged can stimulate a new sexually-starved priest to join in.
