Sex addictions are particularly difficult to crack because they have three components:

• security

  you want sex as proof your partner will not leave or that people accept you.

• sensations

  you want sex for certain intense sensation. You might not be aware of just how raw and specific this is. Look at what you think about when you have an orgasm.

• power

  you want to prove you are attractive and can get good looking partners.
