Taxes

I suggest we repeal all taxes and replace them with a set of positive and negative taxes based on harm to the planet. So for example we would pay taxes for:

• mining
• emitting CO₂ and other greenhouse gases.
• consuming fossil fuels.
• eating fish that are not plentiful.
• Discarding material in land fills.

You would get a tax refund for:

• recycling
• Using a bicycle.
