deployJava.js

A tiny suite of JavaScript utilities that Sun provides. It does things like determine if Java is installed, install a JRE (Java Runtime Environment) or launch an Applet by generating the Object or Embed tags. The problem with JavaScript is it is buggy as all get out and behaves differently on every browser. Further, it is not supported at all on many browsers, particularly text browsers for the disabled.

Download or reference http://java.com/js/deployJava.js. The https: link is screwed up with faulty certificate they refuse to correct.
