fontlist : Java Glossary

Bitstorm fontlist is a simple program that generates a large web page displaying a configurable sample of every font you have installed on your Windows machine. It also contains JavaScript to dynamically generate a character map for any of the fonts.

It is similar to FontShower. fontlist shows shows all browser fonts, not just Java fonts, not just Unicode fonts. Fontsaver shows more characters, with configurable foreground and background colours, but it shows them only one font at a time.

Here is a a slice of what fontlist generates. This sample does not show the buttons to request bold, italic, enlarge and char map.

The BitStorm website talks about modems and Windows 95, but fontlist works fine on modern OSes (Operating Systems).
