Cedrick Collomb’s extremely useful Windows utility for unlocking in-use files so you can delete or rename them. The current version is 1.9.2 Last revised/verified: 2016-07-30. Don’t confuse it with IOBit Unlocker.
It helps you get rid of DLLs (Dynamic Link Libraries). Sometimes it can break the lock and do the delete or rename right away, sometimes it has to schedule it for the text reboot. It appears as an option when you right click while exploring files. It works on 32 and 64 bit OSes (Operating Systems).
When upgrading, uninstall the old version first, or, ironically, it will get stuck replacing the main DLL (Dynamic Link Library).
It rudely installs an unrelated eBay icon on your desktop and task bar if you are not careful. It is easy to delete, but the cheek still annoys me.
Chrome and Firefox consider this sort of behaviour so egregious, the label it malware. You have to download it with some other browser such as Opera.
