wallpaper
A high resolution image used as the background for a desktop. Don’t download anything purporting to be wallpaper that is an exe file. To find the best resolution wallpaper, go into Google advance Search and tell it to use my desktop size to look only for images that match the size of your desktop.

Wallpaper is stored in many places, but wallpaper captured with Opera is stored in C:\Users\user\Pictures\*.bmp.

I would recommend avoiding the Bing Dynamic wallpaper. For me it got stuck on one image, then went black. I could not find any way to get rid of it short of reinstalling Windows 7.

Avoid wallpaper than is mostly white or near white. Since the writing under the icons is white, there will be no contrast.
