This is primarily a book about how Canada has transformed from a peacekeeping nation to a war-like one. He is angry. He places the blame on eight specific people, including, of course, Stephen Harper. Richler is the son of the famous Canadian novelist Mordechai Richler. He has a literary background and this sometimes makes him approach the problem in a unique way. The Huffington Post has reprinted a number of excerpts from the book.
