AppData : Java Glossary

When you install applications they store their code in: C:\Program Files\ for 64-bit apps and C:\Program Files (x86)\ for 32-bit apps.

They can store their data in:

• C:\Users\user\AppData\Roaming\ for data that potentially might be synced with a server.
• C:\Users\user\AppData\Local\ for data that will stay put on that machine.
• C:\Users\user\AppData\LocalLow\ like local, but with less security.

Use attrib /s -h *.* to make these directories visible.
