AGP
Accelerated Graphics Port. A high performance way for video cards to access the CPU. They bypass the PCI bus that other devices use and go direct to the CPU, much the way RAM does. To use it, you must have an AGP capable motherboard with a special AGP slot and an AGP video card. You cannot use the older PCI video cards in AGP slots or vice versa.
