Notebook computers are even smaller and lighter than laptops. You might get the idea from http://www.motorola.com/Consumers/US-EN/Consumer-Product-and-Services/Tablets/ci.MOTOROLA-XOOM-US-EN.overview Motorola Xoom ads that this Android class of computer is even faster than desktops. Not so. Notebooks typically have 1 Ghz processors. Desktops typically have 2 to 6 3Ghz processor cores. Notebooks can’t use high performance processors because fast CPU (Central Processing Unit)s consume too much power and would drain the batteries. The distinction between a notebook and a smart cell phone is blurred.
