trackball
A trackball is a ball you spin with your palm or thumb to move the mouse pointer on the screen. These are slightly more expensive than mice. They are less likely than mice to malfunction from impacted lint. For people with a hand tremor, the trackball is easier to use. There are heavy duty versions for small children. Try both a mouse and a trackball before you buy.
