This man is the epitome of what I find disgusting about modern Christianity. He has a raspy hissing voice that drips evil. On about 2011-02-22, a hacker calling himself anonymous took out godhatesfags.com. It is still is not back up. Last revised/verified: 2010-03-02. I don’t like seeing free speech suppressed, but I can’t get too excited about Phelps being muzzled because he has pushed free speech well beyond the limits of reasonableness.
History will likely look more kindly on Phelps than we do now. He holds a mirror up to Christians and lets them see just how rabid, irrational, vicious and evil their anti-gay bigotry is. In that role, he is probably much more persuasive to Catholics than any gay lib activist would ever be.
