gerbils: Somebody started a rumour that gay men frequently put live gerbils into their anuses. I personally have never met anyone who does this, or who even knows of anyone who has tried it. The world is a big place, so quite probably somebody has tried it. I would think the little claws and teeth would quite quickly puncture the rather delicate rectum. Such a person probably performed the experiment only once. I have since had an email explaining that a few sadists have indeed tried this anaesthetising the gerbil, removing its teeth and claws first. I have no way of knowing if he was just pulling my leg. It is a dangerous and cruel way to get jollies that can be had much more easily other ways. On 2005-03-29 some nicompoop and sadist reputededly tried it with disastrous results.
