Bell : Java Glossary

Bell
AT&T created a series of modem standards used in the USA and Canada. The Bell 103 standard is used forNorth American 300 BPS (Bits Per Second) modems and 212A is used for 1200 BPS modems. The 212A is similar to but incompatible with the European CCITT (Comité Consultatif International Téléphonique et Télégraphique) V.22 standard.
