Fortress
A proposed new computer language to handle the scientific domain that FORTRAN does now. It sounds like it might implement some SCID and dynamic version control ideas. It understands units of measure and dimensional consistency. It uses a syntax closer to mathematics. Code is displayed in traditional 2D mathematical format with superscripts and division with the numerator on top. It sounds finally like a new language that is not just rearranging the semicolons.
