GeoCodec
A company that maintained street maps with latitudes and longitudes. They had software that lets you feed in an international street address and get back a latitude/longitude. They also had software to provide routes between any two addresses. This could be used in conjuction with GPS. It could also be used to locate customers geographically by region.
