Formerly Lantern. It is a box that accepts satellite transmissions, and acts as a wireless Internet server to the various documents that it downloads from the satellites, including recent news feeds. The idea is people without Internet access can still access much of the information on the Internet, for free. It would be a low cost way to give quasi-Internet access to people in the third world. You do not pay a subscription. What you read is anonymous and uncensored. You are only accessing a tiny trickle of what is available on the Internet, about 1 GB per satellite per day. You have no upload ability, email, ecommerce etc.

The server costs $100.00 USD . You need to add a satellite dish ( $60.00 USD ). It comes with only 4 GB of storage. You would want to add external storage.
