Winamp : Java Glossary

a free, ad-free, sound plug-in for browsers. It comes with built-in support for the following formats: The latest version now supports AU format, the granddaddy of them all. It has a jukebox function where you can create playlists. I found it behaves more reliably than RealAudio or Crescendo.

If Winamp fails to play a file, try Windows Media Player, QuickTime, or RealPlayer. I use it primarily AVI (Audio Video Interleave).

Recently Winamp has decided grossing out its customers is the way to be cool, with S&M (Sadism & Masochism) bestiality and a picture of an employee’s crusty toenail.
