“Let us not ignore the truth among ourselves … politically we are the aggressors and they defend themselves… The country is theirs, because they inhabit it, whereas we want to come here and settle down, and in their view we want to take away from them their country. … Behind the terrorism [by the Arabs] is a movement, which though primitive is not devoid of idealism and self sacrifice.”
~ David Ben Gurion, Prime Minister of Israel 1948-1963, Quoted on pp 91-2 of Chomsky’s Fateful Triangle, which appears in Simha Flapan’s Zionism and the Palestinians pp 141-2 citing a 1938 speech.

“We are doomed to co-exist.”h that world leaders figured that expelling Jews to a desert in the middle east would be the best way to deal with them. Fuelled by religious righteousness, the Jewish people believed they still had title on the land that is now called Israel, and marched in with guns and took over, stealing the lands from the Palestinians who had lived there for over 1000 years.
~ Henry Kissinger
I consider this the stupidest political decision of the 20th century. It was bound to lead to never-ending conflict. However, it is too late now to undo.
We in the west only hear the Jewish side of the conflict in Israel. I am not going to repeat that here. You have already seen the many horrible photos of mangled shoppers or young people in discotheques killed by Palestinian suicide bombers. The coverage is unbalanced enough without me adding my voice to the condemnations of the acts of Arab terrorism. I don’t condone the Arab terroism; it is just that more than enough focus has been put on Arab violence and none at all on Israeli atrocities and none on the reasons for the Arab violence. I am going to present the side you may have not heard before.
The USA is firmly in the Jewish camp. 1/3 of America’s foreign aid goes to Israel, in the form of weapons and equipment to institute apartheid and suppress the Palestinians. Israel is a relatively prosperous nation. They boasted a surplus in 2005. Yet oddly the USA treats them as the most deserving third world country that needs to be coddled.
Israel has embarked on a program of genocide of its Palestinian citizens. It is similar to the one Hitler embarked on to eliminate the Jews. Unlike the Jews who went meekly to their doom, the Palestinians have fought back. Unfortunately, about the only weapon an impoverished people have is suicide bomb, which kills primarily the relatively innocent Israeli civilians, not those orchestrating the genocide.
If you would have cheered the Jews using suicide bombs in desperation against the Nazis, then surely you could understand, though not necessarily condone the Palestinian use of suicide bombs against Jewish citizens of Israel.
Israel has decided it wants a pure Jewish state, much as the Nazis wanted a pure Aryan state. The government of Israel is using the same tactics as the Nazis namely apartheid, ghettos, restricting movement, confiscating property without compensation, lock downs, expelling and killing. Almost no news of this reaches the west, and suprisingly even the average Israeli citizen hears little. All they hear are reports about the suicide bombers. The west paint the suicide bombers as crazy people usually religious fanatics, rather than as desperate people pressed into a corner with no other option of self defence.
Israel has nationalised some 93% of the country’s lands, by appropriating land without compensation from the four million Palestinian refugees who live in exile and by confiscating the lands of the one million Palestinians who live as citizens.
“If power corrupts, the reverse is also true; persecution corrupts the victims though perhaps in subtler and more tragic ways.”Just as children who are abused often go on to abuse their own children in exactly the same way they were abused, the Jewish people have gone on to recreate the horrors of their own abuse at the hands of the Nazis. You would think they would be the last people on earth to behave like Nazis, but that is not how it works. If humans can’t take their fury out on their persecutors, they will take it out on someone else weak enough to persecute.
~ Arthur Koestler
Just like Nazis, the Jews have convinced themselves they are justified in their persecution because of their racial superiority and because the Palestinians are a threat to them. Of course now the Palestinians are a threat. Palestinians don’t take kindly to being evicted from their ancestral lands or genocide.
The odd things in the USA claims it wants peace in the middle east, but keeps pouring gasoline on the fire with its bias and lavish funding of the Israeli apartheid. If it wanted, it could cool things down by reducing the flow of weaponry into Israel and treating both sides with scrupulous impartiality.
Israel has militarily occupied the territories it captured in the 1967 war, thumbing its nose at he UN resolution demanding it withdraw. Israelis keeps the Palestinians in lockdown 1/3 of the time, so that they can’t go to work, buy groceries, or get to a hospital. It has bulldozed their homes and orchards. It has suffocated the economy so that 2/3 of people cannot find work.
“There is no ceasefire. There will not be any ceasefire.”

Olmert, acting Prime Minister of Israel 2006-
“The Palestinians are like crocodiles, the more you give them meat, they
want more.”

“The Partition of Palestine is illegal. It will never be recognized…
Jerusalem was and will for ever be our capital. Eretz Israel will be restored to
the people of Israel. All of it. And for Ever.”
~ Menachem
Begin, Prime Minister of Israel 1977-1983, the day after the U.N. vote to
partition Palestine.
“This country exists as the fulfillment of a promise made by God Himself.
It would be ridiculous to ask it to account for its legitimacy.”
~ Golda Meir,
Prime Minister of Israel 1969-1974, Le Monde, 1971-10-15
“If I was an Arab leader I would never make [peace]
with Israel. That is natural: we have taken their country.”
~ David
Ben Gurion, Prime Minister of Israel 1948-1963, quoted in The Jewish
Paradox, by Nahum Goldmann, Weidenfeld and Nicolson, 1978, p. 99.
“I would have joined a terrorist organization.”
~ Ehud Barak,
Prime Minister Of Israel 1999-2001, in response to Gideon Levy, a columnist for
the Ha’aretz newspaper, when Barak was asked what he would have done if he
had been born a Palestinian.
“We should prepare to go over to the offensive. Our aim is to smash
Lebanon, Trans-Jordan, and Syria. The weak point is Lebanon, for the Moslem
regime is artificial and easy for us to undermine. We shall establish a
Christian state there, and then we will smash the Arab Legion, eliminate Trans-Jordan;
Syria will fall to us. We then bomb and move on and take Port Said, Alexandria
and Sinai.”
~ David
Ben Gurion, Prime Minister of Israel 1948-1963, 1948-05, to the General
Staff. From Ben-Gurion, A Biography, by Michael Ben-Zohar,
Delacorte, New York 1978.
“If I were an Arab leader, I would never sign an agreement with Israel. It
is normal; we have taken their country. It is true God promised it to us, but
how could that interest them? Our God is not theirs. There has been Anti-Semitism,
the Nazis, Hitler, Auschwitz, but was that their fault? They see but one thing:
we have come and we have stolen their country. Why would they accept that?”
~ David
Ben Gurion, Prime Minister of Israel 1948-1963, 1948-06
“In strategic terms, the settlements (in Judea, Samaria, and Gaza) are of
no importance.”
~ Binyamin Begin, son of the late Menahem Begin and a
prominent voice in the Likud party writing in 1991. (Quoted in Findley,
Deliberate Deceptions; p 159) Paul Findley notes that Begin added that their
importance was that “they constitute an obstacle, an insurmountable
obstacle to the establishment of an independent Arab State west of the river
Jordan.”
“The establishment of such a school is a foul, disgraceful deed. You can’t
mix pure and foul. They are a disease, a disaster, a devil. The Arabs are asses,
and the question must be asked, why did God did not create them walking on their
fours? The answer is that they need to build and wash. They have no place in our
school.”
~ Rabbi David
Bazri speaking about a proposed integrated school in Israel.
“[The Palestinians] are beasts walking on two legs.”

Begin, Prime Minister of Israel 1977-1983, speech to the Knesset, quoted in
Amnon Kapeliouk, Begin and the Beasts New Statesman, 1982-06-25
“Is Zionism racism? I would say yes. It’s a policy that to me looks
like it has very many parallels with racism. The effect is the same. Whether you
call it that or not is in a sense irrelevant.”
~ Desmond

“One million Arabs are not worth a Jewish fingernail.”

~ Ehud
Olmert, acting Prime Minister of Israel 2006-

“There is no such thing as a Palestinian people… It is not as if we
came and threw them out and took their country. They didn’t exist.”
~ Golda Meir,

“How can we return the occupied territories? There is nobody to return
them to.”
~ Golda Meir
Prime Minister of Israel 1969-1974, (quoted in Chapter 13 of The Zionist

“Israel should have exploited the repression of the demonstrations in
China, when world attention focused on that country, to carry out mass
expulsions among the Arabs of the territories.”
Benyamin Netanyahu, Prime Minister of Israel then Israeli Deputy Foreign
Minister, speaking to students at Bar Ilan University, from the Israeli journal
Hotam, 1989-11-24.
“It must be clear that there is no room for both peoples in this country.
If the Arabs leave the country, it will be broad and wide-open for us. If the
Arabs stay, the country will remain narrow and miserable. The only solution is
Israel without Arabs. There is no room for compromise on this point. The Zionist
enterprise so far… has been fine and good in its own time, and could do
with ‘land buying’ — but this will not bring about the State
of Israel; that must come all at once, in the manner of a Salvation [this is the
secret of the Messianic idea]; and there is no way besides transferring the
Arabs from here to the neighboring countries, to transfer them all; except maybe
for Bethlehem, Nazareth and Old Jerusalem, we must not leave a single village,
not a single tribe. And only with such a transfer will the country be able to
absorb millions of our brothers, and the Jewish question shall be solved, once
and for all.”
~ Joseph Weitz, Directory of the Jewish National Land
Fund, 1940-12-19, The Question of Palestine by Edward Said.
“… we have no solution, that you shall continue to live like dogs,
and whoever wants to can leave — and we will see where this process leads?
In five years we may have 200,000 less people — and that is a matter of
enormous importance.”
~ Moshe
Dayan Defense Minister of Israel 1967-1974, encouraging the transfer of Gaza
strip refugees to Jordan (from Noam Chomsky’s Deterring Democracy,
1992, p.434, quoted in Nur Masalha’s A Land Without A People,

“It is the duty of Israeli leaders to explain to public opinion, clearly
and courageously, a certain number of facts that are forgotten with time. The
first of these is that there is no Zionism, colonization or Jewish State without
the eviction of the Arabs and the expropriation of their lands.”
~ Yoram Bar Porath, Yediot Aahronot, 1972-08-14,
responding to public controversy regarding the Israeli evictions of Palestinians
in Rafah, Gaza, in 1972. (Cited in Nur Masalha’s A land Without A

“We walked outside, Ben
Gurion accompanying us. Allon repeated his question, What is to be done with

published in the New York Times, 1979-10-23
“There are some who believe that the non-Jewish population, even in a high
percentage, within our borders will be more effectively under our surveillance;
and there are some who believe the contrary, i.e., that it is easier to carry
out surveillance over the activities of a neighbor than over those of a tenant.
[I] tend to support the latter view and have an additional argument:…the
need to sustain the character of the state which will henceforth be Jewish…with
a non-Jewish minority limited to 15 percent. I had already reached this
fundamental position as early as 1940 [and] it is entered in my diary.”
~ Joseph Weitz, head of the Jewish Agency’s
Colonization Department. From Israel: an Apartheid State by Uri Davis, p.5.
“We shall try to spirit the penniless population across the border by
procuring employment for it in the transit countries, while denying it any
employment in our own country…. expropriation and the removal of the poor
must be carried out discreetly and circumspectly.”
~ Theodore
Herzl The founder of Zionism, (from Rafael Patai, Ed. The Complete Diaries
of Theodore Herzl, Vol I)
“In our country there is room only for the Jews. We shall say to the Arabs:
Get out! If they don’t agree, if they resist, we shall drive them out by
force.”
~ Professor Ben-Zion Dinur, Israel’s First
Minister of Education, 1954, from History of the Haganah
On the eve of yet another round of peace talks with US Secretary of State
Madeleine Albright, Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu has invited the
leader of the Moledet Party to join his coalition government. The Moledet (Homeland)
Party is not just another far-right Zionist grouping. Its founding principle, as
stated in its charter, is the call to transfer Arabs out of “Eretz Israel”:
[the land of Israel in Hebrew is Eretz Yisrael] “The sure
cure for the demographic ailment is the transfer of the Arabs to Arab countries
as an aim of any negotiations and a way to solve the Israeli-Arab conflict over
the land of Israel.“ By Arabs, the Modelet Party means not only the
Palestinians of the West Bank and Gaza: its members also seek to “cleanse”
Israel of its Palestinian Arab citizens. And by “demographic ailment”,
the Modelet means not only the presence of Arabs in Israel’s midst, but
also the “troubling high birth rate” of the Arab population.

would put an end to the fighting at a stroke, we would use much more force…”

“If I’m sorry for anything, it is for not tearing the whole camp
down… No one (in the Israeli army) expressed any reservations against
doing it… I found joy with every house that came down… I have no
mercy… I say if a man has done nothing, don’t touch him. A man who
has done something, hang him, as far as I am concerned. Even a pregnant woman —
shoot her without mercy, if she has a terrorist behind her. This is the way I
thought in Jenin…”

cabinet.
“One of the major problems with Israeli democracy is that it has no
constitutional guarantees of human rights. To my knowledge it’s the only

“[Three quarters of a million young people who have served in the IDF]

niggers or kikes.

“I vow that if I was just an Israeli civilian and I met a Palestinian I
would burn him and I would make him suffer before killing him.”

Disputed as to whether this is genuine.
“Even today I am willing to volunteer to do the dirty work for Israel, to
kill as many Arabs as necessary, to deport them, to expel and burn them, to have
everyone hate us, to pull the rug from underneath the feet of the Diaspora Jews,
so that they will be forced to run to us crying. Even if it means blowing up one
or two synagogues here and there, I don’t care.”
~ Ariel
Sharon, Prime Minister of Israel 2001-2006, daily Davar, 1982-12-17.
”We declare openly that the Arabs have no right to settle on even one
centimeter of Eretz Israel…. Force is all they do or ever will understand.
We shall use the ultimate force until the Palestinians come crawling to us on

”Here lies the saint, Doctor
Baruch Kapal Goldstein, blessed be the memory of the righteous and holy man,
may the Lord revenge his blood, who devoted his soul for the Jews, Jewish
religion and Jewish land. His hands are clean and his heart is clear. He was
killed as a martyr of God on the 14th of Adar, Purim, in the year 5754.“
~ inscription on the grave, (made as a shrine visited
by pilgrims), of the mass murderer Baruch
Goldstein. An American Physician and an Israeli settler of Hebron, Goldstein
shot to death 29 worshippers kneeling in a mosque in 1994 before the crowd
overpowered and killed him. As a doctor, he had been court-martialed for
refusing to treat anyone who was not a Jew.
“Israel should keep the Araboushim [derogatory slang for Arabs] on a short
leash, so that they recognise a whip is over their head. As long as not too many
people are being visibly killed, then Western humanists will accept it all
peacefully, and even ask ‘What is so terrible?’.“
~ Boaz Evron, Yediot Ahronot, 1982-12-02, Israeli
writer and commentator.
“Israel is working on a biological weapon that would harm Arabs but not
Jews, according to Israeli military and western intelligence sources… In
developing their ‘ethno-bomb‘, Israeli scientists are trying to
exploit medical advances by identifying genes carried by some Arabs, then create
a genetically modified bacterium or virus. The intention is to use the ability
of viruses and certain bacteria to alter the DNA inside their host’s
living cells. The scientists are trying to engineer deadly micro-organisms that
attack only those bearing the distinctive genes. The programme is based at the
biological institute in Nes Tziyona, the main research facility for Israel’s
clandestine arsenal of chemical and biological weapons. A scientist there said
the task was hugely complicated because both Arabs and Jews are of semitic
origin. But he added: ‘They have, however, succeeded in pinpointing a
particular characteristic in the genetic profile of certain Arab communities,
particularly the Iraqi people.’ The disease could be spread by spraying
the organisms into the air or putting them in water supplies. The research
mirrors biological studies conducted by South African scientists during the
apartheid era and revealed in testimony before the truth commission. The idea of
a Jewish state conducting such research has provoked outrage in some quarters
because of parallels with the genetic experiments of Dr Josef Mengele, the Nazi
scientist at Auschwitz.”
~ Uzi Mahnaimi and Marie Colvin, The Sunday Times [London,
1998-11-15]
This is the original source of all the violence in the region. Israel asserts title over this “promised land” area and the people who have been living there for centuries say nonsense, you don’t have legitimate title to even an acre, not even what the UN gave you in 1948. Israelis want to drive Arabs from the promised land and Arabs want to drive Jews out of it.

that the distinction between anti-Semitism and anti-Zionism is not a distinction

~ Abba Eban,
Foreign Minister of Israel, 1966-1974. This is like claiming if you detest black
murderers you are prejudiced against all blacks. It is even as absurd as saying
if you oppose the Iraq war you hate all white people.
I collected these quotations widely quoted on the Internet. I have not verified the sources.
“The trebling of the population in this small and impoverished country, flowing with milk and honey but not with sufficient water, rich in rocks and sand dunes but poor in natural resources and vital raw materials, has been no easy task: Indeed, practical men, with their eyes fixed upon things as they are, regarded it as an empty and insubstantial utopian dream.”Iraq has most of the water in the region. That is one of the reasons the USA is occupying it. Whomever controls the water controls the middle east. The Israelis then used a pretext for the war, the capture of two POWs on Lebanese soil (according to the world neutral press, on Israeli soil according to the US press) which the Israelis called “kidnappings” and proceded to bomb Lebanon, targeting primarily civilians. Houses, churches, roads, bridges, hospitals, ambulances, fleeing car convoys, schools were are all destroyed. There is very little left standing. The Israels spent on bombs. They primarily targeted homes, apartments, schools and hospitals in an attempt to kill as many children as possible. To make the deaths of the children more agonising, the Israelis used banned weapons, white phosphorus and cluster bombs. A rocket unit commander testified the IDF fired about 1,800 banned cluster bombs, containing over 1.2 million cluster bomblets. The cluster rounds which don’t detonate on impact, believed by the United Nations to be around 40% of those fired by the IDF in Lebanon, remain on the ground as unexploded munitions, effectively littering the landscape with thousands of land mines which will continue to claim victims long after the war has ended. Israel’s Lieutenant-General Dan Halutz, Israel’s chief of staff has ordered a full investigation into the use of cluster bombs.
~ David ben Gurion, Prime Minister of Israel, 1963-03-28
To ensure generations yet unborn would suffer with hideous birth defects, the Israelis also used DU depleted uranium which is contaminating Lebanon for all generations to come. Hizb’allah retaliated with its own terrorism, shooting rockets into Israel that killed 8 railway workers, a mother and her son, and 52-year old man on a bicycle. The main effect of the rockets was to pin northern Israelis in bomb shelters without electricity or air conditioning. Here you see Israeli soldiers planting an Israeli flag on Lebanese soil in triumph.
Then they might be softened up to negotiate a settlement. It might be modeled on the land claims of the native people in Canada. The Palestinians should get their own land, some political autonomy, and at least token financial compensation for the land stolen. Perhaps even more important are the formal apologies. Then you might have a Truth and Reconciliation commission, much like South Africa to expose and apologise for the atrocities committed on both sides.
Consider the phases Canada went through. For the centuries the white people vilified the aboriginals. They never mentioned any evil deeds of the whites. They pretended that North America was empty, waiting for occupation. All attacks by the aboriginals on the whites were described as savage and irrational. “The only good Injun is a dead Injun” The Jews in Israel are still in this vilifying-the-victim stage. The aboriginals were herded onto reservations and kept in poverty. Aboriginals did not have full citizenship. They were patronised and treated like children. The Jews treat the Palestinians even worse, micromanaging their lives almost like modern day slaves. Over time the full story of the disgusting theft of land came to light and the dirty deeds of Canada’ white invaders, such as deliberately spreading smallpox. That softened modern day Canadians up to making amends. The aboriginals only requested a token compensation for the original crime. Mostly what they wanted was a change in attitude. They wanted respect. Hopefully the same thing will happen to the Jews and Palestinians. Today when I go to a public gathering it is common for some aboriginal to stand up and say something like, “We welcome you all to this traditional Songhees land.” We acknowledge the injustice of our forefathers and the repercussions over time, and that appears to be sufficient.
The alternative is escalating violence so that the Jews gradually leave. There are only 4 million of them. This group of fanatics hold the world nuclear hostage. It will be a Good Thing™ if they are disbanded. It would not be hard to find welcoming homes for them all over the globe. This is already happening gradually. Nobody in their right mind would want to live in a police state like Israel where their kids could be blown up any time they went outside.

| by: | Jimmy Carter | |||||||||||||||||
| Former President Jimmy Carter explains what he figures is holding back peace in the middle east. He puts the blame of a minority of Israeli leaders who insist on occupying Palestinian lands, in violation of half a dozen treaties. He points out that ordinary Israeli citizens are not the problem. They want to negotiate a fair settlement. He suggests that Israel bombing 6000 sites in Lebanon for the kidnapping of two soldiers by a rogue group was “excessive”. Most Americans consider his comments extremely left wing, but that is because America as a country is right wing, where nearly all Americans hold views to the right of all people in other countries. Further Americans are extremely biased toward Israel because of the successful lobbying and propaganda efforts of AIPAC. | ||||||||||||||||||

| by: | Ilan Pappe | |||||||||||||||||
| Ilan Pappe uses recently declassified archival sources to investigate the fate suffered by the indigenous population of 1940s Palestine at the hands of the Zionist political and military leadership, whose actions led to the mass deportation of over a million Palestinians from their cities and villages, over 400 villages wiped from the map, and hundreds of civilians dead. Pappe argues persuasively, that the continued denial of the ethnic cleansing of Palestine in 1948 and the consequent dispossession of a million native Palestinians from their homeland represents a gross injustice that requires redress. | ||||||||||||||||||

Of lesser importance, ask your federal politicians to rethink the official “terrorist organisation” status of Hizb’allah. It is a political party that holds seats in the Lebanese parliament. It was originally formed to oust the Israelis who occupied Lebanon for two decades starting in 1982. They primarily fought Israeli soldiers, so are properly a resistance movement not a terrorist organisation. Terrorists are people who target civilians. With that change in status, it will again be legal to speak out in support of Hizb’allah’s cause. The B’nai Brith are intimidating people such as myself with legal prosecution for championing Hizb’allah’s case.
