BC Ferries

Share the Pain

BC Ferries is having trouble making ends meet. Who isn’t?

Instead of sharing the pain, Campbell has decided that a small number of British Columbians should take on the entire burden for the province to rectify that by taking 5 to 40% pay cuts.

The designated patsies do not include any Liberal MLA (Member of the Legislative Assembly)s or BC Ferries management.

I don’t think this is fair. Everyone who uses the ferries should also share part of the burden.

Campbell defanged the union by taking away its only legal bargaining chip, the right to strike, which just made the union members mad as hornets. Then in typically idiotic, Orwellian fashion Campbell said he did it to help cool things off.
