tracert
A utility similar to ping to help track down Internet problems. It shows you the various hops you packets take to get to their destination, and the range of times to negotiate each hop.

To use tracert to check a 120 km (74.56 miles) Internet link from Victoria BC to mindprod.com in Vancouver BC, at the command line type:

tracert mindprod.com
