DOM

Document Object Model processing reads an entire XML file into RAM and converts it to a tree. It is part of Sun’s JAXP classes for manipulating XML files.

DOM also refers to JavaScript/Java interactions where Java Applets can find out about and modify the page they are embedded in. DOM supports two scheme languages XSD and RELAX NG. You can invoke them with:
