If you see a paragraph marked like this with an orchid icon, it means this is something that is superlative. It my award for doing an exceptionally good job, going beyond the call of duty for the common good. I sometimes use it to mark best of breed.

My friend Jerry Pournelle originated the term is his Byte magazine column with his orchids and onions for vendor service, software and hardware picks and pans.

If you see no orchid it means your browser does not support CSS style sheets and these icons will be invisble to you until you get a browser such as Opera that supports them.
