WebLogic
Bea Weblogic makes a set of two-tier JDBC drivers and a T3 server they claim are 20 times faster than using an ODBC bridge. They also make a high performance RMI package and a servlet womb. Before Bea bought them out, the product was called Tengah.

They rudely insist you sign up for a trial version of the webserver before telling you the price of the real version. It costs in the order of $20,000.00 CAD per server. You have to negotiate a price.
